Power Plant in Mexico Starts Operation of New Electrichlor® System

Creston Water Solutions has completed the installation, commissioning, and startup of a 24 kg/h Electrichlor® seawater electrochlorination system at a combined cycle power plant owned and operated by Comision Federal de Electricidad (CFE) in Tuxpan, Mexico. This turnkey project was delivered ahead of schedule, highlighting Creston’s project delivery capabilities in Latin America. The hypochlorite solution produced by the Electrichlor system will be used to provide biofouling control for seawater intake pumps and cooling water lines.
