Torrington WTP now using Electrichlor® system for water disinfection

Creston Water Solutions has successfully commissioned a new Electrichlor® hypochlorite generation system at the Torrington Water Treatment plant. The system, with a capacity of 75 lb/day of equivalent chlorine, produces a low concentration sodium hypochlorite solution through the electrolysis of brine and replaces bulk sodium hypochlorite for disinfection of water.
